The Loving Collective is a group of local independent business owners with a vision and a mission to strengthen the Richmond community by supporting Richmond businesses. When the foundations of business are strong, individuals and the community as a whole are stronger and more stable. We exist and work for the betterment of our event guests and of the community through our support for non-profit groups and community events.

Our mission in Richmond is to support local businesses, non-profit associations, and community events through educational, marketing, and social networking opportunities. We go beyond the usual networking model and combine our resources for group promotion, cross marketing, and cooperative marketing initiatives. By joining forces, many small companies can gain the clout that is usually only found in large corporations, as well as gain needed services, wisdom and expertise from complimentary industries.

Through our monthly social networking events, we help local business owners gain exposure and find other business owners with whom they can partner to improve their organizations. We also strive to inform and educate our members and guests about the latest in marketing—what’s working, what isn’t and why—in this challenging business climate.

The Loving Collective is a diverse, talented group, led by founder James Loving, principal owner of Loving Consulting. We work together as a conglomerate, pooling our resources for the benefit of our members and guests. We are looking to grow the Collective by adding strategic members in the fields of law and accounting who will be able to assist the other Collective members and our guests with their talent, knowledge and services.
